A practical experience that keeps students involved with the importance of Chinese markets and rural destination positioning

Each of the students had a magical town, and the mission of 25 stickers was carried out. This mission brings direct impact by making each sticker to bring awareness and access for Chinese consumers from their native location, China.

To close the program the students created a project to position Veracruz in China: Positioning strategies of the tourism sector of Veracruz in China alongside a strategy and project of gastronomic routes. In doing so putting the young generation engaged in identifying the most compelling culture and heritage from each region within Mexico while also learning about the considerations of digitalization and tapping into the Chinese marketplace.

“Visualization of the port in front of the Chinese market and the great economic spill as well as updating in terms of new technologies and innovations, one case could be the QR code, and worthy payment for its cultural contribution”.

Salma Ortiz Thompson, Cultural Program Participant

“We had the opportunity to have interaction with different instances of tourism to share the objective of Shake to Win and in this way they could see.”

Sergio Andrés Osorno Morales, Cultural Program Participant

A very special thank you again to all the guests, local municipalities and students who have worked hard in making this happen. Shake to Win hopes that more students can be involved in the future of building new opportunities with China from their early careers and continue to do so in the future with the cultural program.

Unlocking New China during the COVID era

Entering the Chinese market takes time and extensive research as well as a deep understanding of consumer insights, trends, and local behaviors. Engaging in all these activities may be expensive and impossible for small to medium-sized businesses around the world. With the added constraints of COVID-19, finding an efficient and cost-effective solution is vital to unlocking the potential of the Chinese market. However, finding partners that can digest both the international and local Chinese perspectives can be hard and risky.

Under the goal of connecting global cultures to the Chinese youth, Shake to Win has been facilitating China market access for SMEs, cultural organizations, as well as public institutions from all over the world, building commercial and emotional bridges between distinct nations and helping Chinese consumers to reach the most unique places, products, and people. We offer an extensive range of services including localization, social media, online marketing, offline campaigns, e-commerce, and more, leaving you to focus on your business without the need to learn Chinese from your local destination.
