About Shake to Win

Shake to Win is a travel platform that connects Chinese independent travellers with authentic places and cultural experiences around the world. It helps local businesses and cultural institutions reach the world’s largest outbound tourism market in just a few clicks. Chinese users can access our platform via a WeChat Mini Program or an iOS and Android app. We are now present in 7 countries in Europe with over 2500 featured spots including cultural institutions, museums, art galleries, nature-related destinations and tours, local family-run businesses, and cultural activities run by locals. We are the first Asian shareholder of the Van Gogh Heritage Foundation and have been selected by RISE Alpha Program 2019 as one of the featured startups.

What will you do?

  • Plan digital user acquisition campaigns across email, social and other digital channels that drive results for travelling appeals, user engagement and mass participation events;
  • Create content for social media, including Instagram, Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, and other relevant channels, as well as develop fans growth strategy, execution plans and implement them;
  • Develop testing plans, deliver optimizations and perform analysis across campaign performance;
  • Lead innovation in maximizing new technology and platforms for promoting our brand as IP with the amplification of our unique content and stories;
  • Deliver paid social media campaigns strategy proposal, execution plan, budget plan and ROI estimation, as well as implement the plan and drive results;
  • Act as a digital evangelist across the company, sharing learnings and upskilling colleagues.

Are you the one we are looking for?

  • Curios about culture from all over the world;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a digital/content/integrated marketing role in the Chinese market;
  • Exceptional ability to speak and write English fluently, with flair;
  • Experience of planning and running paid media campaigns on Instagram, Weibo and WeChat and make sure the results and ROI are achieved; 
  • Demonstrable evidence of optimizing content effectively for different channels and target audiences;
  • Strong awareness of the role of data in marketing management;
  • Experience in creating audience driven digital strategies;
  • Experience in the Chinese social media landscape, user behaviour and mechanism design.
